Someone told me you were a really big fan of Michael Bolton's? (just kidding). I believe your response at the time was "pish". Glad to see you're still rockin'! Spoke with the guys this past summer while Naz was in the States but did not get a chance to catch a gig... Maybe next time? Hope you and the family are well.

Cheers, Carla,

Carla? Is it you?
Last time, Brooklyn Zoo, no?
(I played bass for a few days, me-thinks).
Let's forget the 'Bolton' pish, take a stroll down Lois Lane!
Love to yours too,

keep in touch,
Billy

Billy,

I want to ask you about one of my biggest heroes, Ted Nugent. Have you ever met him? If so, how did it go? He will be rocking in London on June 6. Can you play any of his songs? How about "Scream Dream" or "Weekend Warriors"? Ted is dangerous with a gun as well as with a guitar. I know Manny Charlton doesn't like the guy very much but I am one of his biggest fans. He is an extremist and his attitude and political beliefs mirror my own, although I am not nearly as outspoken as he is.

By the way, I will be making a return trip to Scotland by the end of the year and I would love to see another of my heroes perform "Nobody Home" live. Maybe you can hook up with that most awesome bass player and and rock that sonofabitch like you did on Shake. You know I can sing that song word for word but not as well as you man.

One more thing, thanks for doing the Sinky's gig last year, man, you helped make my first overseas excursion a memorable one. I have distributed the video of that show all over North America. As long as I live I will never forget October 19, 2001 and what a thrill that night was.

See ya soon mate!
Bax

Bax, Bax, didn't you know?

Sleeve notes of 'Shake', first line about 'Tax Free Zone', 'Big Hair', & just 'Do it!'
That was Ted! Supported Black Oak in Glasgow, we played 'Snake-skin' & 'Strangle' with 'Phase'!

Cobo Hall, Detroit, 'reminded him who I was, he really did cry, really!

I've got two autographs from him, one says 'Do it kid', second says 'Choose your weapons!'

Nugent doin' 'Nobody Home', there's a mind-fuck, huh?

Kindred spirits await ye Brian.

Haste ye back!
Love,
(awesome bass-player) & Billy

Hello there stranger! Long time no talk! I don't even know if you get these emails but I just wanted to say hello and to wish you a very Happy Birthday and hope all is well with you? Turning 39 again?

I see in the paper that Nazareth will be in Vancouver in June, too bad you won't be with the band. What are you up to these days? Any new CD's out?

Drop me a line if you can.
All the best for your birthday and always!

Take care,
Cherie

Hi Cherie,

Stopped travellin' then? (Got all the emails!)
How I love the smell of Vancouver in June, 'they won't remember you Cherie, wash your hair or somethin', OK?

Thanks for the birthday wishes, (39 noted!)

Hope you're as good as you sound pal, keep remindin' OK?

Love
Billy
