Hi Billy
I sure wish you would come to Alberta to play (Edmonton area) I think your're an awsome player, anyway do you see Zal anymore? I've been listening to some of my old Alex Harvey stuff I just love his sound on the live version of Faith Healer the album shows him playing an SG did he use one often and what do you think of the SG? By the way thanks for your help with my 4 track I appreciate it, rock on.
Jim

BILLY SEZ

Jim,
Done some of my favourite gigs in Alberta, no shit!
Yes, I see Zal (in supermarkets etc.) though he hasn't played an SG since joining Naz in '78. He did use it on our Zal Band tour in '77, I must ask him what happened to it eh?
4-track help?
Thanks?
Ach Jim, that's what I'm here for.

Seeing as how im a big SAHB and Naz fan, I was wondering what it was like playing wi Zal.......I figure he is one of the most underated guitarists of all time. Also I wish tae make a request of u and some other scots musicians ie Zal, Ted, Fish, Adamson et al. Could u lads write a rockin Tartan Army anthem fae the next assault on either the World Cup or Euro. Oh aye and one last ? Do u support the tic or the gers?

As I've said often, Sean, playing with or even watching Zap play is a unique experience every time. He's still amazing. As for writing an anthem..., did you see us against Croatia? Get a grip man!

We were just checking out your site again while on the net. We noticed a guy called Jens talking about your new project with "Rigor Motis".. We know all about this.
What we were wondering was .... Is it the same Kenny Cobain (doing guitars with you) that you recorded "Take my Hand" with? We know this is a fovourite in Central Scotland) A great track..
If there is demand for this from fans who have not heard it. I am happy to put this out on the web for you.

NazFanz,
Those of you who will be attending the DVD recording in October will be disappointed to see that Billy is booked to do a Gig in Linlithgow, see below from his web page... I wonder if there is any chance of him "doing it" a day early in Dunfermline? what about it Billy? could you fix it? if it could be done I would bet most of the travellers would go to that as well. Now we need the MCB band over in Scotland on the Sunday night and we would have a true Naz Fest!!!
Cheers
Stuart
PS "The Health and Happiness Club" sounds like a massage parlour.... who pay who in this case?

October 2001
6th Lawries, Lauriston
12th Bowhouse Hotel, Grangemouth
13th Morgans, Glenboig
20th Bridge Inn, Linlithgow
27th Health & Happiness Club, Linlithgow

BILLY SEZ

Massage Parlour?
Naz Fest sounds like a Bavarian rally!
Reminds me of a true tale about our ex-manager, Jim, though.
He once requested funds to buy a private number plate for the band's limo, failing to spot what would've made future journeys a bit hazardous.
The plate? NAZ1 (honest!)

Hiya Billy,
What can you tell me about Dicken's (ex. Mr. Big) involvement with Tandoori Cassette? Did he record any stuff with the band.... if so, can you give me some titles? Did he gig with the band?
Hope to hear from you,
Phil

BILLY SEZ

For perhaps the first time ever, Phil, you've stumped me!
I'll be sure to ask Zal, could be a while though, OK?
What the Dickens!

Hi, Billy

I can't believe that you are still alive! How are you doing? Tried a few times to find something about you in the Internet, now finally I made it. In 1996 I moved from Nürnberg to Regensburg and I'm working now at the BMW plant there. Good payed job, indeed. And I also worked in Oxford, but for two weeks, only. It's a nice City and I made a lot of friends there. According to your tour-guide, it doesn´t look like you are comming to Germany someday. What a pitty! So, as I cannot meet you I hope you will write to me, soon!
To re-fresh your memory I send you a pic of me, then you'll remember!

Best wishes
Your Marcus

BILLY SEZ

Still Alive?
Marcus, how dare you!
Even during our.....um, heavier times together, I was always looking after you, ungrateful shit!
Good to hear you are alive, the pic was totally unnecessary, I never forget a face like yours, baby
Keep in touch, OK?

Love, Billy

...when will you play some Shows in Germany? A Tour together with the Manny Charlton-Band? That would be a nice Package!

BILLY SEZ

A nice package, Brigitte?
Do you wear glasses or contacts?
Nice thought though,
"Night of the Living Dead III."
(Flights from Germany to Scotland or Dallas are cheaper.)
